How to clear cache on PS4


The "cache" is the part of the computer that stores temporary data, and allows you to access that data quickly and smoothly. When a computer or other device is running slowly or not operating at its maximum capacity, it may be useful to clear the system cache. PC, PlayStation 4 has a cache that needs to be cleared every now and then.


And according to business insider, wiping the PS4 cache is simple, so all you have to do is:


1. Turn off your PS4, it must be completely closed to clear its cache, and if it is left in Rest Mode, the operation will not work.


2. The indicator light flashes while the PS4 is turned off, wait for it to stop blinking completely.


3. Unplug the power cord of the PS4 from the back of the console, and don't simply disconnect the cord from the wall, it must be unplugged from the PS4 itself to clear the cache.


4. Wait at least 30 seconds, then reconnect the wire to the PS4, the PS4's cache should now be completely cleared, and you can test its performance by starting the system backup.
